Abilities OT Services and Seminars, Inc. (AOTSS)
is a consulting firm dedicated to helping individuals and organizations understand the impact of the environment and attitudes on functional performance and independence at home, on the job, in the community, and at school. Our team of accessibility consultants and special educators provides consultation and continuing education training and CE programs for a wide variety of services and agencies, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and design/build contractors.
Founded in 1991, the goal of AOTSS is to assist clients, caregivers, and organizations to maximize safety, independence and access for persons who are aging or have disabilities. We focus on a client-centered approach.

Our pediatric school-based services range from educational programming and consultation for struggling students and students with disabilities to in-service training programs and continuing education CE for therapy service providers, educators, administrators, and parents. Professional seminars include pediatric school-based interventions using sensory motor strategies and assistive technology. AOTSS also provides in-service training in a wide variety of interventions and processes to promote health and wellness for stress management.

Our accessibility consulting services include functional and environmental assessments, on-site and remote consultations, hme modifications, home safety, environmental design consultation, architectural plan review, construction management, specialized product research, expert witness, facility accessibility compliance, and transition planning. Professional seminars are offered on "accessibility consulting, home modifications, and assistive technology" with a focus on promoting safety and independent living services for pediatric through geriatric populations, addressing a wide range of physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
