Currently, the following pediatric seminars are offered by AOTSS and the list is growing. Check our calendar for updates and listings:
"Sensory Motor Activities on a Shoestring Budget" 2-Day Seminar is a make-and-take workshop for therapists, teachers, and parents featuring low-tech, low-cost materials for those who have minimal space, budget, and time. Through this seminar, you will learn how to create a fun, interactive educational program with lesson units, supported by manipulatives, to address skills needed by both special needs and regular education students.
"Brain Gym 101 Certification" 3-Day Seminar is a practical, dynamic, personal development program which can benefit people of all ages. Easy to use with individuals and groups, the 26 exercises and postures create a readiness of mind and body by stimulating basic neurological senses (vision, hearing, touch, balance, & proprioception) and activating neurological pathways throughout the brain. This course is based on the experiential model of learning with lecture and discussion for problem solving and integration of use and knowledge of the information taught each day.
"Brain Gym and Other Sensory Motor Strategies for Optimal Learning" 2-Day Seminar provides participants with an opportunity to experience normal and abnormal challenges that can emerge in children from birth through standing/walking, in school-aged children, and in adulthood, as they learn how to apply Brain Gym techniques and other sensory motor strategies into therapy practice.
New seminars will be added to our services as they evolve. Site host and speakers contracts can be downloaded from this site to bring our trainings to your location.
SITE HOSTING OR SEMINAR SPONSORSHIP: Host this course and receive free registrations. See ?˘‚Ǩ?ěSite Host Agreement?˘‚Ǩ¬ů information.
